I apologize for the issue. 

Here is something I want you to try.

  1. Please make sure you are using the iCSee app but not iCSee PRO. (You can disable the commercial ads “Me–tools-google ads” while you use iCSee)
  2. Bext please close the app and log back into the iCSee. 
  3. If you don’t see the camera in the device page, please click +, and more
  4. Now choose the last option ‘add the device from the same router, see whether the app can find your camera, and make a permanent connection or not.

Thanks for your contact.

The camera doesn’t have a password while you receive it. The app has instruct you to add the new password to the camera when you try to connect the camera to your home WiFi for the first time. It is not the password of iCSee app. It is the password you have input twice after the radar scan complete.

Only you will know the password. Any new devices try to log into the camera, it needs that password.

If you can’t remember the password, you will have to reset the camera that will disconnect the camera from your home WiFi. You can start from the beginning to add the camera to the home WiFi again.

This is the video, you may see whether it can help you recall the password to avoid the reset the camera.

I apologize for the issue. If you have enabled the motion recording but you can’t receive the notification message, please install the PC software or Mac software to enable the PMS feature (push message service).

If you don’t have a computer to change the setting, please provide me the camera’s ID and the password you saved to the camera ( it is not the password for iCSee app), I will change the setting for you remotely.

Attached I sent you the second image to find the ID, You will need to copy the full ID and send me as long as the email, I will be able to log into the camera remotely.

I understand your concern. The camera can be hooked up to your WiFi network with the same WiFi technology you use on the mobile phone. Once the camera is online, you will be able to view the camera through the internet on the mobile app.

The camera will send a heartbeat message to the cloud server in order to assist the mobile app to build the connection. That is why you don’t need to configure the WiFi router and you can view the camera outside of the network. It is a common technology these days.

You can simply disable this function or just remove the gateway IP address of your router in the camera. The camera will only stay inside your local network. It is unable to live stream to the outside of your local network.

As long as you have added the password to the camera, people can’t hack or see your camera. It is the technology being used for IP surveillance over 5 years which requires more strict privacy.

There is still one more option. The camera has internal WiFi built-in. The signal is not very strong, but you still can connect the camera’s internal WiFi directly to access the live video and playback the footage while you are around with the camera. The camera will have zero connection with your existing network if you use the camera’s internal WiFi.

I apologized for the issue. I just use dummy email 123@123.com to register an account for you. username: password: You can change the password after you login the iCSee. You also can use “Local login” instead of “Account login” to connect the camera, but you can’t receive the notification message if you select the Local login.

I apologized for the frustration.

Firstly, could you please power up the camera and listen closely? If the camera is making clicks sounds a few seconds, it means the camera is working correctly. We have multiple ways to hook up the camera to your home WiFi. This is the pre-requirement. 

1. The camera only works with 2.4Ghz WiFi. It doesn’t work with 5Ghz WiFi. 

2. You should place the camera near your WiFi router while you try to set up the camera. 

3. please install the latest app iCSee, but not iCSee Pro. The attached please find the image. 

4. The camera’s internal WiFi will be turned off automatically after you send your router’s password to the camera even if the camera failed to connect the WiFi. You will need to reset the camera (by pressing the reset button and holding it for 15 seconds) and turn on the camera WiFi (by pressing the reset button three times) If the traditional way doesn’t help you hook up the camera to WiFi, We have developed the new fast way to make the connection. You will need to search the video “new method to hook up WiFi birdhouse camera to home WiFi”. 

In the new method, you do NOT need to turn on the camera’s internal WiFi (by pressing the reset button three times), the camera’s internal WiFi should stay off status. Hope the information helps.

There is an optional way to hook up the camera to your home WiFi network. Basically you only need to reset the camera (press and hold the reset button for 15 seconds and wait until you hear the clicks sounds made by the camera), and you should NOT turn on the camera’s internal WiFi (with 3-depress). 

Here is the highlight, The camera only works with 2.4Ghz WiFi, and please place the camera closed to your WiFi router while you try to set up the connection. The below please find the video for reference. https://youtu.be/UjnZBr3BMjA

PoE摄像机能连接,不出视频

Thanks for your email. This is Steve from the support team. 

There are two things you can try:

1. Would you please use the “Local login” to enter ICSee APP? Next you tap the + button on the top right screen and click more to pull up all the options. Now you can search the camera’s in the same LAN. The Local Login will try to connect the camera with a static IP address instead of Cloud ID while both camera and app stay inside the same local network. The cloud ID may need the cloud server assist. 

2. If it still doesn’t work, I will suggest you check the camera’s IP address setting. Make sure the camera network setting is correct, especially the subnet mask, gateway and the DNS. You can install the PC software to connect the camera. It always places the PC computer on the same switch as the camera.
