I understand you have an RCA analog nest box camera which will be connected to TV probably and you want to upgrade to an IP based bird box camera.

Firstly, I would like to say you can’t view the camera on the TV directly. It is not the analog signal output from the camera anymore.

We have both wired and WiFi version bird box cameras. Each camera needs to be connected to your home WiFi network in order to view the camera on the mobile app. If you pick the WiFi version, you should have a very strong WiFi signal around the nest box. The camera works standalone. It doesn’t rely on apps or other software.

People can install the app and view the camera on their mobile phone. But you can’t embed the camera’s live feed to the web directly. For the last question how to power up the camera. I would need the pictures to understand how your existing power solution, also which type of network connection you plan to lead back your home network. (WiFi or wire)
